Tackling Identity-Based Harm
Following on from our Tackling Racism Restoratively programme, we have been talking with Cornwall’s creative communities about how active anti-racism can contribute to Cornwall’s culture of welcome.
READ MORESplanna, which means “shining bright” in Cornish, is a brand new collaboration between Falmouth Art Galley and RJ Working.
The next 5 months will see 15 young people, aged 9-14, prepare artistic responses to the environmental challenges we are facing – culminating in a month long exhibition in the main gallery space. Rj Working will help in the facilitation of these sessions including supported conversations about climate change and responses to this global issue.
Jumping straight in at the deep end during our first session, the freshly formed Splanna group drew inspiration from their teamwork agreement to screen print these bags, with the assistance of local printmaker, Viv.
