Today we tackled the fashion industry, creating a weird, wonderful, yet incredibly stylish outfit made entirely out of rubbish.
It was surprising to learn the millions of tonnes of clothes that we throw away every year, and that aid projects donating clothes to developing countries can sometimes just end up in “clothes mountains” selling us a false story that the clothes have done some good. There was a general consensus to buy second hand, and try to only buy new, the things we really need.
