Earth Day 2024

The theme for Earth Day this year was Planet vs Plastics and so we spent time at Penwith college talking all things plastics with students and staff. Did you know that humans eat on average 18 kilos of plastic in their lifetime? If our current habits continue, we will have more plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050. We also discussed the plastic pollution from the fast fashion industry and how this is contributing more pollution to the environment than aviation and shipping combined!
