Amidst the Dunya – Dec 2021
We are excited to be working with Hajar Beshira who has developed a beautiful card deck called ‘Amidst the Dunya’ (Dunya being the temporal world, and its earthly concerns and possessions). It is a tool and resource for young Muslims ‘unravelling and exploring layers of life, faith and identity’…. She describes it as follows: ‘this is a card deck full of questions, tasks and reminders. The aim of the game is to unravel our relationships and explore our identity and experiences with ourselves, others and Allah (SWT)’. There is lots of cross over between Hajar’s work and Restorative Practice, and we are looking forward to the knowledge and expertise that Hajar will bring to RJ Working.

Ramadan Craft Workshop
We had a wonderful morning at Truro Community Library where we ran a Ramadan craft workshop. We were joined by children and their parents from the Syrian and Ukrainian communities, and we made Ramadan themed suncatchers, played games and got to know each other.
