Our new Youth Group - Beyond the Labels starts in Penzance!

Our new youth group Beyond the Labels started this term in Penzance. Beyond the Labels is a weekly group for young people, led by young people, funded by People’s Health Trust. It’s a fun, creative and safe space that uses Restorative Practices to support making connections and building relationships. We have enjoyed getting to know the group this term, learning about their values and what is important to them. We have explored the themes of identity and inclusion in depth, discussing harms to identity, what a label is and when they might be helpful or unhelpful and how to help people feel included using Restorative Practices. We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation next term!
