As part of our Culture of Welcome project we are committed to actively contributing to anti-racism efforts in Cornwall. We have recently held a series of workshops to encourage Restorative thinking for adults in local communities, participants have described their experiences as ‘enlightening’ and ‘a safe space to challenge ourselves and others’. Tackling complex social injustices such as racism requires the right tools which is why we aim to provide individuals with the confidence and language to help them. It’s even more encouraging that 95% of participants are saying the workshop will enable them to tackle racism more effectively in their communities.
