Restorative Connections - 1st March 2022

We are very excited to introduce more groups as part of our Restorative Connections programme for children and young people aged 9 to 15 years who are not in school, for whatever reason. One of the new groups is due to start in Truro soon.

Each group will meet over 6 weeks  for an hour and a half each time. Young people will be supported to have fun together and learn about themselves and each other.   An introduction to Restorative Practice will be provided, with opportunities to learn about how to read different situations and  how to make things better.   Everyone will have the chance to contribute and there will be opportunities to talk about what is fair and unfair in the world of young people.

The group will also have the space to develop connections with each other. All of the sessions involve a practical/creative element, where the young people are able to make something to take home with them. The group  will support their ongoing learning and development, and if they want to, will support them to share Restorative language and principles with their family, supporters and friends.
