Programme Launch 'Consulting Communities through Youth-Led Climate Awareness'
The Youth-led Climate Action Team is excited to have launched this vitally important programme, funded by central government through Cornwall Council. We are publicising the Climate Action Plans of Redruth Town Council and Camborne Town Council.
Young people’s lives will be the most affected by climate change however it is already affecting everyone through the cost and availability of food and impact on heating bills. We need big change to develop community strengths and the first thing is to get talking about the issues!
Our team is organising 20 community conversation events across Camborne, Pool and Redruth so different people’s voices can be heard and next steps planned.
