Training - Programmes for Children & Young People
Restorative Engagement Programme
We are very excited to be part of a new Cornwall wide Youth Engagement Programme – Yep!
Through partnership working, this programme aims to build confidence, resilience and competence amongst young people aged 16 – 24.
We offer Restorative Engagement Programmes in FE colleges across Cornwall, supporting young people who are struggling at college, either socially or with attendance, and who are at risk of disengaging.
The programmes run for 6 weeks at a time and consist of weekly group sessions where young people are supported to;
- Learn Restorative skills to deal with difficult situations & relationships
- Develop people skills that will help them at college & in the workplace
- Explore conflict & how to deal with it
- Identify their strengths & how best to use them
- Build supportive connections with other young people
- Be able to share their learning through volunteering opportunities
- Better look after the wellbeing of themselves and others
We are currently delivering this programme at:
Truro College
Penwith College
Cornwall College – St. Austell
Cornwall College – Camborne
Callywith College
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
