RJ Working’s central purpose is to equip young people, and the adults who work with them, with Restorative principles for tackling conflict and preventing its escalation. One innovative use of Restorative principles is tackling racism, work that RJ Working has piloted in Cornwall’s secondary schools since 2017.

Secondary Schools

Themed ‘Be the light in the darkness’ and with limited places available in the new year. These interactive workshops and assemblies around Holocaust Memorial Day have been developed through a partnership with national charity Protection Approaches and RJ Working.

Due to the complex return to school in January 2021 we will continue to offer these workshops until the Easter holiday break.

This 5 part online course designed for YR8 and YR9 students touches on some of the founding principles of Restorative Practice with a view to enabling leadership and the support of others.

Our classic three day intensive course for ten Year 9 students and two key staff members. Young people learn the principles of Restorative Practice and practice how to use them in everyday life, planning to coach and mentor younger students.
